How to use USD SDK in debug builds (C++)?

The prebuilt USD SDK from Pixar Universal Scene Description (USD) | NVIDIA Developer only has a release config set up in /cmake/pxrTargets-release.cmake. There is no debug config though, so if I try to pull in the USD SDK in a debug build it will fail since it doesn’t have any of the setup previously done in pxrTargets-release.cmake.

I don’t mind if I am using the USD SDK with prebuilt release binaries and no symbols, but I want my own project to be built in debug mode. How can I do this?
