I can´t use nvidia-settings with my GEFORCE GTX 1080 TI in ubuntu 16.04

When I try to use:

nvidia-settings -q [gpu:0]/GPUCurrentClockFreqsString

doesn’t work and the result is:

Failed to connect to Mir: Failed to connect to server socket: No existe el archivo o el directorio
Unable to init server: Could not connect: Conexión rehusada

ERROR: The control display is undefined; please run nvidia-settings --help
for usage information.

I´m attaching the nvidia-bug-report.log.gz file.

Your distro configuration is totally borked.

You still have AMDGPU binary drivers installed all over the place.

Please reinstall your distro and install NVIDIA drivers from the official Ubuntu repository.
