Gettings started with exploring the option to connect two workstations with nucleus.
Both working fine as standalone.
In the “main” have nucleus server setup.
Should the second workstation access the files using the network (like SMB) or be connected using the “connect to a server” using the second workstation ip?
If I were totally honest, I would not use Nucleus for just two workstations. I really don’t see the advantage. Nuclues is really designed for massive Enterprise workflow. If it is just you and two workstations, just store the files normally in Windows or Linux and access them normally through a network.
What advantage of Nucleus Workstation are you hoping for, over normal file storage? The workstation version is really just a “sample test” for the larger Enterprise Version. The workstation version does not do “versioning” and does not do backup, so you are at risk of over writing your usd files and worse, corrupting them.
