I only play games on 1080p, should I get a GTX 2060 over spending extra for a 2070?

I don’t know what the performance jump is because I don’t know much about cards, and many people who talk about these cards are using higher resolution when playing.

Is it worth spending the extra money to make the card last me for longer? I mean the price jump is pretty big, nearly 200 euro more expensive.

My GTX 970 has lasted me nearly 3 years now and plays many games at high-ultra at 60fps still, but in other games its age is showing it’s age. It’s an amazing card and I got more than my moneys worth fohttps://solitaire.onl/ 9apps.ooo/ https://bluestacks.vip/
r the price, but I’ve been looking for another card that will give me that same bang for my buck with newer games.

So should I risk shelling out extra cash for the 2070, or get the 2060?

FYI - Always go for the best hardware you can afford, it will last longer in terms of performance. Also, make sure you select the "Super" edition of whichever GPU you decide to buy

hi i think your GTX 970 is good but if you want buy new card i suggest check benchmark or check review before you buy.

Wait for tomorrow when the super cards are coming and check again then. But for the current price difference being so big between 2060 and 2070, i would get the 2060. shareit vidmate

The main reason to go RTX 2070 at 1080p is to maintain >144fps for a longer period of time if you’re gonna keep the GPU a while. … Wait for the RTX 2060 Super. Then make a decision. That 2060S will be quite a bit faster, it has 8 Gigs of faster memory and shouldn’t be much more expensive than the old RTX 2060.

2060 definitely, 2060 is not a 1080p card if I ever play at 1080p it stays at like 60% usage, I play most games at 1800p (3k) so yeah you would have a lot of power to spare.

Currently you should probably get an RTX 2060 Super. You will get essentially the same average FPS as the RTX 2070 for only slightly more money than the RTX 2060. This video compares the performance of all three GPUs in 5 different games.
