i2c_i801 not installing and nvidia-smi command not working

I am using Dell R720 with Xenserver 6.2 and trying to install the latest vgpu drivers(340.57).

I have fully updated xenserver to sp1 #15.

When running the lsmod | grep NVidia command I get the following:

nvidia 9522927 0
i2c_core 20294 1 NVidia

I should be getting:

nvidia 9522927 0
i2c_core 20294 2 nvidia,i2c_i801

Looks like I am missing i2c_i801 and cannot get NVidia-smi command to work. It returns with:

[xxx ~]# nvidia-smi
Unable to determine the device handle for GPU 0000:44:00.0: Unknown Error

I have lost countless number of hours trying to figure out what is wrong with no luck. Any info would be great.

I guess I will try other forums for answers, might be a Dell hardware issue or BIOS setting. I will update with my findings so others can avoid this pain.
