I2C Sensors

I open this thread to know if it is possibile add

  • Accellerometer
  • Magnetometer
  • Gyroscope

to this booard using expansion slot.
There is any particular chipset to buy and mount?
I’d like to use Android OS Image and replicate a tablet hardware configuration.

Not many on this forum have posted about successfully using the expansion pins yet, but there are instructions here for basic access.

From a hobbyist perspective the MPU9150 has all three groups of 3D sensors that you are looking for.

There is also a lot of example code available out there.

I haven’t tried I2C yet on my jetson but I might get a chance to try hooking up a MPU9150 later as I have a few of them.
