IB cable network speed is going down. earlier it working 56 Gbps. but now that cable Speed 20 Gbps and LLR status also Inactive. how to solve this problem

i have Mellanox sx6512 - 216-Port InfiniBand FDR Switch.

IB Cable : QSFP to QSFP 5-m (16.4 ft) InfiniBand (IB) V-Series optical cable

Fourteen Data Rate (FDR) 56 Gb/s fiber optic cable with Quad Small Factor Factor Pluggable (QSFP) connectors on both ends.

in this cable connect to HP Server. That the cable is working, but cable network speed is going down. Generally, this IB cable Speed is 56 Gbps. but now that cable Speed 20 Gbps and LLR status also Inactive.

i have connect and checked the cable was different port switch and server side.

Please check if the cable under warranty , if yes, you can RMA the cable ​

Thanks for your reply. warranty is Out of date. why did this cable degrade?

Typically this will happen once the cable goes bad.
