I have a strange crashing problem on my Tesla c2050 card. When I run the CUDA program, it sometimes crashes with the error FAILED 73(Illegal instruction was encountered) and sometimes finishes without the error. This crashing appears to be completely random if none of the programs (for example explorer) is opened. But immediately when I open any of the programs or just move the mouse, the instantaneous crashing with the error FAILED 73(Illegal instruction was encountered) appears. To be more strange, the same CUDA program runs without any problems what so ever on another TESLA C2050 card under the same configuration (Dell Precision T7500). For Cuda compiler i use PGI FORTRAN 15.9 with CUDA 7.5 release. I couldn’t find any similar crashing cases on internet, so if anyone have similar experience or any type of information, it would be very helpful. Thanks in advance.
