Hi,

When switching an image sensors output from 16-bit to 12-bit, is a new NITO file required for programming the ISP?

Also, is there a way through the nvsipl interface to allows for this change in the output data format?

Thank You
Mick

Changing the imaging sensor’s output format is beyond the scope of this forum’s support. I would suggest contacting the vendor for further assistance. It is possible that switching from a 16-bit to a 12-bit output from an image sensor may require a new NITO file to program the ISP. This is because the NITO file contains the ISP configuration for specific sensor output formats, and changing the output format may require a new configuration.
