In Orin NX Can we let the VBAT pin left unconnected for RTC?

As there is a dedicated pin(VBAT) for RTC function, if the pin is not used can we left that pin unconnected ?

Note : We are planning to use an external RTC interfacing through I2C instead of using the inbult RTC function in Orin NX SOM
