I’m looking at some of the software contained within DRIVE OS and I wanted to know if CUDA (and its complementary libraries) could be updated independently similar to the Jetson since it looks like CUDA 11.4 is the version that is packaged currently and there have been a few version updates?

Thank you for your inquiry. AFAIK, it’s not supported. May I ask why you need a newer version of CUDA and its libraries? Is there any particular feature or functionality that you require that is not available in the current version packaged with DRIVE OS?

We’re looking to use a newer version of the GCC/Clang host compiler, C++20 in NVCC, as well as a newer version of TensorRT for improved performance.

The upcoming release will introduce support for updated versions of CUDA and TensorRT. However, it’s important to note that C++20 support will not be included in the newer CUDA version at this time or in the near future.

Got it, thank you. Do you know which newer CUDA version will be packaged in the upcoming release? And is the timeline for the upcoming release known?

Please contact your nvidia representative for the details. Thanks.
