Dear NVIDIA Team,
I hope this message finds you well.
I am currently working on an industrial project focused on measuring the physical dimensions (length, width, and height) of wooden components in a manufacturing environment using a camera-based vision system. The system will be deployed in an industrial setup where accuracy, stability, and reliability are critical.
For this application, we have selected the Jetson Nano along with the Intel RealSense D456 depth camera. Based on discussions with the Intel RealSense team, they recommended using a Jetson platform for image processing and edge AI deployment.
Before initiating full-scale development, we would like to understand the following:
-
Does NVIDIA provide any pre-trained models, reference implementations, or SDK-based solutions suitable for wooden object dimension measurement using depth cameras?
-
Are there any existing frameworks within the Jetson ecosystem (e.g., Isaac, DeepStream, or other supported libraries) that can accelerate development for 3D measurement or spatial analysis tasks?
-
Is there any documented case study or deployed solution for wooden industrial wood dimension measurement that we can refer to?
-
What would be the recommended software stack for accurate depth-based measurement using Jetson Nano?
Our goal is to leverage any existing NVIDIA-supported models or tools, if available, so that we can begin with a validated approach and then further customize the image processing pipeline according to our project requirements.
Thank you for your time and support. I look forward to your guidance.
Kind regards,
Aakash Parmar
