Install Ubuntu 20 to MMS jetson xavier nx

Hi. I can not install Ubuntu 20 to Jetson xavier nx

please follow this method to dump the error during flash from the device side.

I did everything as it was said in this video, but the OS did not install

That thing is just guide you how to dump log. Of course it didn’t fix anything…

What I need here is share the full log as text log file here…

I’m not sure I understood correctly which text log is needed. But after starting the “minicom” and connecting power to jetson, a repeating set of messages is output to the terminal:

Are you using NV devkit to test here? The error log looks like problem from hardware side.

Also, did you ever flash this board before?

Yes, I am using the model P3518 to install software on my jetson xavier nx. I’m trying to install software on MMC. And yes, this board has worked before. Now I have gone through the installation cycle again and recorded the output of “minicom” in log.txt
log.txt (1023.1 KB)

How did this board work before? Any specific jetpack version to flash it?

Jetpack 5.1.1 used to be on it. Now I’m trying to install version 5.1.4, since version 5.1.1 is no longer available in the SDK Manager.

Jetpack5.1.1 is still available. Please run with

sdkmanager --archived-versions

I launched the archived version of the SDK Manager, but got the same error.

Stop sharing screenshot. You only need to share uart serial log as what we just taught you.

Then please RMA this device. It is hardware defect.
