Installation of CUDA toolkit through WSL with Windows 10 20H2

Hello,

I’m trying to configure Windows Subsystem for Linux to install the CUDA toolkit. I’m going off of these instructions, however these instructions state to install the latest dev build from the Windows Insider Program. This turns out to be Windows 11 preview Build 22000, which our network management infrastructure currently cannot support. Is it possible to run the CUDA toolkit in the Linux subsystem while Windows remains on version 20H2?

GPU: NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3080 Laptop GPU
RAM: 32GB @ 3200 MHz
OS: Windows 10 Enterprise 20H2

I have similar issue in office laptop which not allowed to install updates . So Final answer is no you can not you have to installed latest updated or build must be 21H2.
