Installing isaac in docker on Nano : [error]: zmq.h: No such file or directory

I encountered those errors when installing Isaac in docker, which is running on the Nano.
docker: dustynv_ros: galactic-ros-base-l4t-r32.5.0

  1. build/temp.linux-aarch64-3.6/scratch/vers.c:4:10: fatal error: zmq.h: No such file or directory
    libzmq3-dev is installed, but an error is reported also.
    $ apt-file seach zmq.h
    libzmq3-dev: /usr/include/zmq.h

  2. [Errno 2] No such file or directory: ‘./configure’: ‘./configure’

  3. ModuleNotFoundError: No module named ‘packaging’
    Command “python egg_info” failed with error code 1 in /tmp/pip-build-rfo18tda/pyzmq/

  4. environment: line 25: /.local/bin/jupyter: No such file or directory

This topic may be better served in the Jetson Nano category. I will move it over for you.

OK, thank you!

Hi @Zhuoqian, can you confirm if you are installing Isaac SDK or the Isaac ROS packages?

Are you able to install it into l4t-base container first to confirm the issue is unrelated to galactic container?

I haven’t dealt with this problem for a while, I’ll give it a try
