Intel 8265ngw cart issues on jetson nano, " Microcode SW error detected" error

On Nano with a intel 8265ngw wireless card on the M2 connector, Nano has serious problems. The connection is unstable, hangs and makes the platform impossible to use. There are a lot of errors in the dmesg log. Has anyone encountered this problem and knows a way to solve it?

Do you have a second 8265ngw to test with to rule out hardware failure? I’ve noticed a lot of these boards sold on Amazon are taken out of used PCs and are often in various states of disrepair. I once received one with liquid damage. Also worth testing is whether it works in 5w mode (nvpmodel --help).
