Hi all,
I’m Chief R&D Officer and a Co-founder at Zappar.
We have a product called Zapbox that leverages your iPhone (Android support is coming…) to offer a full 6-DoF VR / MR experiences, including two tracked controllers with broadly the same additional inputs as Quest. We’ve also developed a runtime that offers low-latency passthrough and async timewarp as found on most standalone headsets.
Zapbox has some native apps (including a port of Open Brush and a WebXR-capable browser) and a Unity XR Plugin to allow developers to build their own native apps for Zapbox.
Thanks to the CloudXR iOS SDK we’ve also just been able to get PC VR streaming to Zapbox up and running.
The video below shows me playing Half-Life Alyx on an iPhone from an AWS g5.xlarge instance, and demonstrates the rotational timewarp and the controller tracking latency. We’re putting together a better video of this shortly, so we’re trying not to share this one too widely yet, but it’s a good summary of how the combined Zapbox / CloudXR solution works.

I’ll be posting a few other questions shortly so I thought I’d do this one first so I can reference it when adding those posts. Happy to discuss Zapbox in this thread with anyone too of course!
