Is anything changed from DriveOS 5 to 6 with regards to NITO tuning?

We are wondering if the NITO tuning process changed from DriveOS 5 to 6 in any way? Can we tune the NITO files on our own or we still need to contact a special third party company with NVIDIA partnership to do the tuning for us? Are the NITO files still encrypted (or in unspecified binary format), or we can read/write its content?
