# Is EFM8SB109F2G.hex the correct firmware for Jetson AGX Orin Power MCU?

Hello,

I’m currently working on development based on the Jetson AGX Orin. We’re using a slightly customized carrier board. Once the board development is complete, I’ll need to download firmware to the Power MCU on the Jetson AGX Orin. That seems to be required for the board to boot properly.

I downloaded P3737\_P3768\_P2822\_P3509\_Power\_Button\_Firmware\_v011.zip from the NVIDIA Community. Inside, I found a file named EFM8SB109F2G.hex.

I’m not sure if this file is the correct firmware for the Power MCU on the Jetson AGX Orin. If it’s not, I’m worried that my EVM might no longer be usable.

Could anyone confirm whether this is the correct firmware?  
Also, I’d really appreciate it if someone could share how to download it to the board.

Hi thpark19,

What’s the Jetpack version in use?

The devkit board for AGX Orin is `P3737` so that the `P3737_P3768_P2822_P3509_Power_Button_Firmware_v011.zip` you downloaeded is the correct one for your AGX Orin carrier board.
