For mu project, i want to use a surface gripper to grasp a deformable object. I have already checked the manual. But i found it just works on rigid body and i cannot find any information about grasping deformable object by surface gripper.
I wonder is it possible to use the surface gripper to grasp the deformable object or particle object?
Hi @m.li-5 thank you for your question. Unfortunately, we are still not supporting grasping of deformable objects. Hopefully we will provide this in future releases. For now, I would recommend making a proxy for deformable objects depending on your application. For example you could split the cube into two and add a prismatic joint with passive stiffness.
