Currently my Jetson TX2 Development Kit is unable to be reflashed as shown by my post here: Unsupported ioctl and target board error with Jetson TX2. Was wondering if with the Jetpack SDK SD Card Image (from here: JetPack SDK | NVIDIA Developer) if it possible to use the Jetson’s bootloader to load the jetpack image to factory reset the Jetson?
Is it possible to factory reset a Jetson TX2 with its bootloader loading a Jetpack SDK SD Card Image
Hi,
I feel there is something wrong and have few questions to you
-
Is this your first time flashing with sdkmanager or flash.sh?
-
What kind of platform are you using to flash your jetson TX2?
The ioctl error seems not related to jetson TX2, but more related to the platform you are running flash.sh.
I am tried reflashing the Jetson “sdkmanager” and “flash.sh” but encountered errors as I described here: Unsupported ioctl and target board error with Jetson TX2. I using my Windows host computer, Ubuntu WSL, and usb connected with usb over ip. Ah ok that makes sense for the ioctl error.
To use the SDK manager, please have a host PC with native Ubuntu 18.04 OS to install it, then can run it smoothly to reflash you device via the JetPack you selected.
The Windows host computer, Ubuntu WSL, is not capable develop environment for Jetson platform.
