Is it possible to set the capture framerate in the SIPL framework?

Please provide the following info:
Hardware Platform: DRIVE AGX Xavier™ Developer Kit
Software Version: DRIVE Software 10
Host Machine Version: native Ubuntu 18.04
SDK Manager Version: 1.0.1.5538

Hi all,

Is there a way to configure the capture framerate in the SIPL framework for a specific camera sensor or is it a fixed value on the sensor (platform) SIPL driver?

I have been looking at the nvsipl_camera sample application code, but did not found anything related to manually configure the capture framerate. Does the capture framerate value is queried from the sensor SIPL driver?

Thanks in advance for any help.

Best regards,
-Daniel

Hi @dgarba,

Capture frame rate isn’t able to be configured. Sorry for late response and any inconvenience!

Dear VickNV,

We are also interested in changing the capture frame rate of the cameras. I checked the SIPL DeviceBlock API in both DriveOS 5.1.6 and 5.2.0.

My understanding is that currently the capture frame rate is camera driver specific, so only the camera driver suppliers are able to change the capture frame rate by modifying libnvsipl_qry_xx and libnvsipl_drv_xx in driver packages.

Is that correct?

Thank you very much in advance for the information!

Best Regards,
Krisztian
