Is it possible to synchronize the DP monitors?

I have two questions

  1. How can i set the output to a fixed resolution without auto configuration of the DP of the AGX Xavier dvkit?

  2. I would like to know how to sync the displays at the H / V signal level when using the same resolution monitor.

I would appreciate it if you let me know.

I would like to know

  1. How can i set the output to a fixed resolution without auto configuration of the DP of the AGX Xavier dvkit?

You could first use the gui setting on ubuntu system setting to set it to the resolution you want.

  1. I would like to know how to sync the displays at the H / V signal level when using the same resolution monitor.

Not sure what is your question. Could you elaborate it?

I want to drive a seamless multi display with three display panels.
At this time, we try to synchronize the H / V to avoid the tearing effect.

Currently, since h / v is not synchronized, tearing occurs during video playback.

Thank you in advance.

Hi,

Sorry, still don’t get the meaning “dp negotiation”. Does using the display setting from GUI achieve your goal?

Could you share a video and your sample code for us to see and reproduce your issue?

Thank you for your response.
This attached file is a test environment for what i asked earlier.

Hi gollaser,

Since there is a mipi bridge on in your photo, I cannot guarantee whether this tearing behavior comes from our driver or not.

If you could try this test on 2 monitors with native dp ports, are you still able to see the tearing issue?

I am not a hardware guy so showing the probed signal may not help here. Could you tell us how to reproduce your tearing issue? Any application running ?

Hi gollaser,

Have you managed to get issue resolved? Any result can be shared?

Hi kayccc

Unfortunately, the results have not improved.
In order to check the tearing, I took a picture with a high speed camera and checked the difference between the two screens.
The update position of the screen also differs on the oscilloscope waveform.

I am wondering to check which part

thank you.

Hi gollaser,

Please try to reproduce this issue with nvidia devkit or we may not able to help check.
Thanks.
