Is it possible to use NSight with Maya? (solved)

We have a Maya plugin which is using OpenGL extensively and we would like to debug it with NSight.
However NSight is unable to start the right application when we start graphics debugging.
The reported error is:
Failed to create process “D:\Perforce\Main\ICE\Output\x64\FastDebug\QDMayaTools.mll”
However we are not compiling a executable but a plug-in.
In the project configuration, the command is “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2018\bin\maya.exe” and the working directory is “C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Maya2018\bin”.
But it seems that NSight doesn’t take this lines in account and try to launch the plug-in which is only a dll.
Is there any way to fix this issue or am I missing something?

What does your Nsight user properties look like? To check, right-click on the project in Solution Explorer and then click ‘Nsight User Properties’. My guess is that it is still set to the default ‘Launch project’ options. I think changing it to ‘Launch external program’ will fix it as long as it’s still set to the default $(LaunchDebuggerCommand) macro.

Thank you very much!
It’s working!
