Hello, if I connect one SSD to XavierA via eSATA port, can I boot from this SSD? If so, could you point me to relative docs? Such as bootloader configuration, how to create partition and images?

Thank you!

Dear @ranchen,
You want OS to be part of SSD and wants to boot from SSD disk instead of eMMC?
May I know why you need this? Is there any use case?

Hi Siva, we want the OS to be part of SSD, there is not use case yet, just want to if this is an option. Thanks.

Dear @ranchen,
I don’t think it is possible. Let me check internally and get back to you if any WAR can be provided.

Dear @ranchen,
May I know if it is because you need more space? How about mounting other disks? Please see Usage of vblkdev1,2,3 if it is helpful.
