In the L4T R32.4.3 documentation (which sadly is not available online) talks about a sdmmc_boot partition. On a running system, is this /dev/mmcblk0boot0 or /dev/mmcblk0boot1?

What is your purpose to directly modify these? I would suggest follow the official way to update partitions.
I don’t intend to modify these. I just want to make sense of the documentation.

mmcblk0boot0 and mmcblk0boot1 refer to the first 4MB and second 4MB of emmc boot partition.
