Is there any information about : /dev/mmcblk1p1 and mmcblk0p1?

Is there any information about : /dev/mmcblk1p1 and mmcblk0p1?
exp: What does “/dev/mmcblk1p1” include? and What does “/dev/mmcblk0p1” include?

Anything mmcblk0 is the eMMC. Anything mmcblk1 is SD card. The “p1” is the first partition of whichever device, so mmcblk0p1 is the eMMC and happens to be where the root partition is stored. mmcblk1p1 can be anything, but if you’ve built a rescue SD card or any SD boot, then this would be a root partition. There are many partitions on the eMMC which you would not normally see…the rest of those partitions are small and generally hold information for machine setup during boot.

One way to see some information is “lsblk”, e.g., just “lsblk”, or “lsblk -fs”. You can look at partitions via gdisk (requires sudo) as well (gdisk is for partitioning using GPT partitions…don’t write to the partition or you may corrupt it).

thank you @ linuxdev.
