Topic Description

Hi All,

I’ve been really struggling to get Isaac Sim to startup on Windows 11. Here’s what the compatibility checker looks like for my system:

I’ve tried all the recommended drivers: 537.58, 576.80, 552.44 (current), but still no luck. The app usually crashes sometime after “app ready.” Depending on the arguments, I can end up with different crashes. Running with “–clear-cache --clear-data --reset-user --/renderer/activeGpu=0” results in a crash while running the SetLightingMenuModeCommand. Here’s the crash logs for both Vulkan and DirectX:

isaac_sim_crask_directX.txt (32.4 KB)
isaac_sim_crask_vulkan.txt (30.8 KB)

If I just use -/renderer/activeGpu=0, then it will usually trip a BSOD and I’ve been unable to recover logs in that case. As part of all this, I’ve also done a clean install of windows. At this point I’m pretty lost, and I’d really appreciate any advice in what to try next.

Update: I am now able to successfully boot Isaac Sim after re-flashing the graphics card firmware. I guess it got corrupted at some point.
