Isaac-sim documentation is not accessable from Ukraine

I’ve identified an access issue affecting users in Ukraine.

When I try to access the Isaac Sim documentation from my location in Ukraine, I get stuck in an infinite loop:

  1. Going to https://docs.isaacsim.omniverse.nvidia.com/latest/installation/quick-install.html shows a “Page not found” error.

  2. The page provides a link to the “latest version,” which goes to What Is Isaac Sim? — Isaac Sim Documentation .

  3. The Problem: This index.html page shows the exact same “Page not found” error, and its link just points back to itself.

The key point: I have confirmed that all these links work perfectly fine when I use a VPN.

Yes this is unfortunately known and accepted as fact. We cannot supply any Omniverse files or documentation to Ukraine at this time, because of the US Embargo, because of the war. That is unfortunately out of our hands. That is the US State department.

Thank you for your reply, but the reason given is based on a critical factual misunderstanding.
The US embargo is NOT on the entire country of Ukraine.
The US sanctions from the State Department and OFAC (Office of Foreign Assets Control) are targeted at:

  • The Russian Federation
  • Belarus
  • The temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine (Crimea and specific, named regions of Donetsk, Luhansk, Kherson, and Zaporizhzhia).

These sanctions do not apply to the government-controlled territory of Ukraine. My location is Kyiv, the capital of Ukraine, which is not under any US embargo.

Maybe that is true, but the routing information is not that accurate, and we cannot control it. Your internet provider may be routing traffic through a restricted area. The internet does not always follow physics lines on a map. Either way, it is out of our hands. That is why the VPN proves it.
