Topic Description

Detailed Description

I am running VR in isaacsim and isaaclab with Quest3, connecting usb-c between Quest3 and my windows 11 pc.

When I run:

./isaaclab.bat -p scripts/tools/record_demos.py --task Isaac-Stack-Cube-Franka-IK-Rel-v0 --teleop_device handtracking_abs --dataset_file ./datasets/dataset.hdf5 --num_demos 10

it seems not be able to take the hand track poses, and in the AR panel → XCR: Capture and Replay, it shows error:
Capture layer is not present in windows registry, refer to README.md to install it.

But i can’t find the instruction in readme.md. Can you please let me know how to fix it? thanks!

I post here since it is actually related to underline IsaacSim.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. ./isaaclab.bat -p scripts/tools/record_demos.py --task Isaac-Stack-Cube-Franka-IK-Rel-v0 --teleop_device handtracking_abs --dataset_file ./datasets/dataset.hdf5 --num_demos 10
  2. Start AR in isaacsim
  3. hand tracking markers is visible but it doesn't control anything, and the IsaacSim window shows error: Capture layer is not present in windows registry, refer to README.md to install it.
