Issue nvfancontrol

Hello,

I enable dm-verity on my system, the system boot, I corrected the different issue link to the read-only file system except the one I got with nvfancontrol. When the service try to run the following error appear:

*** buffer overflow detected ***: terminated
Aborted”

I know verity is not supported by default, but to you have an idea of which configuration is missing? Does the source for nvfancontrol are public, if yes can you give me the link?

I’m working on a ORIN NX with jetpack 6.2

hello AFR,

nvfancontrol is a userspace fan speed control daemon, it reads the configuration file for the look up table of thermal/fan-speed mappings.
please see-also nvfancontrol and /etc/nvfancontrol.conf for reference.
