Issue while cross compiling between host and jetson

Hi all:
i am trying to run some cuda samples remotely on jetson TX2 but i am facing some errors.
I am following complete steps from jetson TX2 cross compiling blog but I am facing an error while building the project. error is something like this.
make:***[src/oceanFFT.o] error
i am running oceanFFT simulation
I am also seeing a warning
invalid project path:duplicate path entries found(/project [include path] isSysteminclude:true includePath:/usr/local/cuda-8.0/samples/5_simulation),path:[/project]

Hi,

Do you follow the instruction mentioned on this page?

Thanks.

yes

Hi,

Could you share the complete log shown in console with us?
We need more information to figure out the cause.

Thanks.

my consol log output is
16:09:36 **** Incremental Build of configuration Debug for project project ****
make all
Building file: …/src/boxFilter.cpp
Invoking: NVCC Compiler
/usr/local/cuda-8.0/bin/nvcc -I"/usr/local/cuda-8.0/samples/3_Imaging" -I"/usr/local/cuda-8.0/samples/common/inc" -I"/home/zeeshanhaider/cuda-workspace/project" -G -g -O0 -ccbin aarch64-linux-gnu-g++ -gencode arch=compute_60,code=sm_60 -m64 -odir “src” -M -o “src/boxFilter.d” “…/src/boxFilter.cpp”
aarch64-linux-gnu-g++: No such file or directory
make: *** [src/boxFilter.o] Error 1
16:09:36 Build Finished (took 88ms)

project doesn’t even build.

Thanks.

It’s looking for the cross compiler. Have you installed that? If so, then it is just a case of needing to specify it by full path.

Hi,

Please follow the instruction page mentioned in #2.
Cross compiler is installed after executing this command:

$ sudo apt-get install g++-4.8-aarch64-linux-gnu

Thanks.
