Jetpack 6.0 DP Installation with SDK Manager failed

I got a new Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit Model #3766. I followed the guide to install Jetpack 6.0 DP and older Jetpack 5.1.3 using SDK Manager with ubuntu 22.04 on a host PC (not VM). It always timed out at Flashing Jetson Linux - 99%. I am not sure what I am missing.

  • Powered up Orin Nano in Forced Recovery mode. Removed the jumper from pin 9-10. Confirmed board state in recovery mode with ‘lsusb’.
  • Launched SDK Manager, Jetson Orin Nano Developer Kit 8G detected.
  • Selected JP 6.0 DP or JP 5.1.3 and started flashing
  • All software download completed OK. Host PC software installation OK.
  • Timed out at Flash Jetson Linux - 99%. If I tried to continue, it would time out again after some time.

Log file:
Nano_JP60DP_FlashingFailed.txt (11.7 KB)

Any help would be much appreciated.

The log does not contain any usefeul information.
Use the export button of SDK Manager and put the zip file here.

I got a fresh install of Ubuntu 22.04 on a clean PC. Flashing was completed successfully. Don’t know why it failed with the other PC, but can close this ticket as I don’t think I want to re-try with the older PC to debug for now.
