I see both of the first issues listed in this article even after trying new download / re-flashing with the SDK etc. I have tried various SD cards and an NVME but exact same issues. Has any progress been made in identifying the underlying issues? This is getting annoying. Glad it is not just me…
Can you list the packages you installed and how you did that.
I am not having that problem, my start is just a base image then I add the jetpack using apt. Then add only what is needed. My stuff is built from source because I need the compute capacity of 8.x along with cuda enabled.
Also, wipe your media before a fresh install.
@foxsquirrel1 . I’ve actually just reinstalled again and things went well and now no errors in first 30 mins. I installed 6.1(Rev1) via SDK 2.2.0.12028 x86_64. I used a brand new Ubuntu 22.04 install on a spare Thinkpad and updated all before installing SDK. I installed the image, all of the runtime components and this time all of the CUDA components even those these are not selected by default. I did not do this on previous attempts. All to a newly formatted 512Gb NVME. The update manager on the Jetson prompted an update and this all went without a hitch. Previous attempts indicated some packages could not be updated and I wonder if this was the issue? Many thanks for your help.
@foxsquirrel1 . I’m suspecting a link to the new power mode. I’ve been running for 3 hours on 15w with no problems. passwords and keys crashed 5 mins after enabling maxn power mode…
That is a pretty healthy bump in speed. I was trying to TOP test it with some house tools and it was all over the place, sometimes it was showing 130 TOPs, my tool must be flaky to get it that high. I would like to find the software they used to test it so we are on the same page.
