Jetson AGX Orin Module PCIe UPHY Trace Length Matching for New Carrier Board Design

Hello,

I am currently designing a new carrier board for the Jetson AGX Orin module, and I have a few questions regarding the PCIe UPHY signal traces.

  1. Are the PCIe UPHY signal trace lengths within the Jetson AGX Orin module equal?
  2. What should be the acceptable length differences (skew) for the PCIe signal traces on my carrier board? Specifically, I would like to know the recommended guidelines for both inter-skew and intra-skew to ensure optimal signal integrity.
I appreciate any guidance or documentation you can provide on this matter.

Thank you for your support.

The data in routing guideline are for custom carrier board design.

Hi Trumany,

I would like to confirm:
Are the trace lengths/delays within the AGX ORIN module equal?
For example, are the trace lengths/delays of UPHY_RX22_N/P and UPHY_RX23_N/P equal?
Do you have an Excel file that shares the trace lengths within the module?
it sufficient to only match the trace lengths/delays on the carrier board as specified in the Jetson_AGX_Orin_Series_Design_Guide.

Thank you.

We don’t share that. For custom design, no need to know the trace length in module. Your trace length on carrier design only need to follow the Design Guide and do not exceed the max length listed in it. That will guarantee the SI.
