Hi, today i used Jetson AGX Orin for the first time. Honestly, the first thing I would like to point out is the very poor instructions. Anyway, I wanted to share with you my bad experience with the SDK Manager, I’ve been trying all day through the Host to install everything necessary on the aforementioned Jetson, but unfortunately without success. On two occasions, trying to do something, I got an error, mostly at the end of the process, that the process was taking too long and then a big ERROR after that. In all other attempts, I struggled with Jetson device recognition. Of course, I also managed to corrupt the factory Linux that came with the Jetson and was unable to restore it, not even via USB or SD card. I’m curious if anyone has encountered similar problems, because now I can’t boot the system on Jetson and is it necessary to install an SSD? P.S. Thank you all for your help.
Hi,
actually I think flashing with scripts is somehow easier than SDK Manager.

If you are referring to force recovery mode, it’s not that complicated or difficult.
You just make sure the device is powered off, hold down the recovery button, press and release the power button, and release the recovery button. Make sure your device is recognized on your host PC with lsusb
.
No, the internal eMMC should be enough.
