Jetson AGX Xavier not booting after trying to upgrade Jetpack from 4.3 to 4.4

  • I wanted to upgrade JetPack and followed this link:
    Welcome — Jetson Linux<br/>Developer Guide 34.1 documentation

  • I changed the “nvidia-l4t-apt-source.list” file as described and run “sudo apt update” & “sudo apt dist-upgrade”. While upgrading the system crashed.

  • After trying to restart. I get stuck in an infinite loop of the screen turning on and turning off with a blank screen.

  • What should I do?

There is no update from you for a period, assuming this is not an issue any more.

  1. Can you share what is changed in apt-source list?

  2. Could you share current boot up log or dmesg with us? I am not sure if this is just an issue from hdmi driver. If it is, then you should still be able to remote acces to it through ssh or uart console. HDMI dies does not 100% represent the system is dead.
