Will be setting up a Jetson AGX Xavier with Ubuntu 18.0.4, I understand it is a ‘stripped down’ Linux Kernel. Linux has for a while had AODV as a supported MANET protocol. Does this version of Ubuntu Linux that runs on the Jetson still have AODV in it.
The kernel isn’t exactly “stripped down” so much as it is configured for the particular architecture and hardware. If you know the kernel symbol used for that protocol, and if the source code for the kernel release used has that available, then it is a simple case of starting with the existing configuration, adding the extra symbol in, and then building/installing. I do not know what kernel symbol/feature uses that protocol, so I cannot say if this requires a newer release.
