Jetson Container Storage

I would like to study how Jetson Xavier NX can be applied to medical imaging to improve the accuracy and the throughput of radiologists. I am using an Aaeon Boxer-A8251 with 8GB LPDDR4 + 16GB eMMC. The problem I have encountered is the limited 16GB eMMC. After loading the operating system that the Aaeon setup instructions specify (Ubuntu), the eMMC has only 1.2Gb available for Jetson packages. Is there a way to install and run packages from an external SSD that uses one of the Boxer’s USB ports? If not, is there an alternate way of overcoming this limitation?
Thank you for any advice you are willing to share.

Hi,

Please refer to Jetson/L4T/Boot From External Device - eLinux.org for booting from ssd.

Thank you Wayne, this is exactly what I needed. Many thanks,
Justin S
