Jetson Linux 36.4.4 apply_binaries.sh error messages

Hi Nvidia,

There are some error messages when doing apply_binaries.sh on 36.4.4.
/var/lib/dpkg/tmp.ci/preinst: line 47: /proc/cmdline: No such file or directory
/usr/sbin/nv-update-initrd: line 92: /proc/cmdline: No such file or directory

and , these two message didn’t show on 36.4.3.

Here is the difference between 36.4.3/36.4.4

Would you please help to check if these two errors are fine on 36.4.4 ???

Hi,
We don’t observe the issue. Please download the two packages:

Jetson Linux Release 36.4.4 | NVIDIA Developer
Driver Package (BSP)
Sample Root Filesystem

And follow the steps to extract the two packages:

Here is my log while access Jetson Package.
Please find line 117 and line 296 for these error printed
r36.4.4_errormsg.txt (22.2 KB)

checking to nv-update-initrd file , we thought it is not a good time to check /proc/cmdline file when apply_binaries.sh executed. because there is no /proc/cmdline file in rootfs/ at that monent.

Maybe we can just ignore these two message??
