JETSON_NANO EVB board is designed, but USB does not work

This is a question about the JETSON_NANO EVB board.

Currently, I completed the board with the JETSON-NANO EVB demo kit and uploaded the UBUNT 18.xx Ver JETPACK to test it.

It was designed to use USB 3.0 (1 ~ 2), but if you see page 8, High output (3.3V) from DSP1234 pin does not come out and stays in Low state.

Crystal Y1 is not oscillating and is in a low state.

And the cam side is blocked because it is not used.

In connection with JETSON-NANO, the pins used with the outside are not used, so they are not connected.

AV12_1 ~ AV12_8

So far, the voltage is well input.

The USB controller doesn’t seem to work.

No power supply to the USB pin.

The rest are good at moving.

Hi, first, please compare your usb hub design to reference design carrier board schematic of dev kit to eliminate possible difference. Also there is a check list in OEM Design Guide doc for your reference to check other parts. And also you might need to check with usb hub vendor for the OTP settings.

I don’t know why the crystal in of component Y1 in schematic doesn’t oscillate.
We also customized the JETSON TX2 carrier board, so I have experience in developing evaluation boards.
The questionable part of our EVB Board is that the voltage level on the DSP1234_PWR pin of Part that is RTS5411S is not H(3.3V)

The USB hub on dev kit output high on pin DSP1234 as it is fused by vendor on request. You can contact Realtek for way to change its output, or change the design of load switch to make enable to active low.

Is there a reason Crystal Y1 is not oscillating?

It needs vendor to explain if you followed reference design well.

Do I need the files in the link above to download the RTS5411’s firmware?

We have redesigned ad carrier board with JETSON NANO according to customer’s needs
But our sample board doesn’t work USB 3.0,
We applied the nvidia reference drawing.
As a resunt of debugging the board, we made, The DSP1234 port pin maintains “L” output not “H”
and Crystal doesn’t rash
So I looked up all the related materials in the forum here.
But there were some issues in there
It is also said that the USB HUB chip needs to put the firmware.
I want to know why the crystal on the USB-HUB chip doesn’t work on the board we made and how to put the firmware on it.

This really needs Realtek to help on the fuse and firmware. Please contact them for this.
