Jetson NX devkit can not detect the correct display

My jetson NX devkit was connected to a Dell 27" monitor. However, the screen shown is a lower resolution 1280x720 desktop. And in the “Displays”, it shows a “NVD 40” monitor. How can I change this?

Please share me the dmesg. I don’t think it is in normal state.

In dmesg, it showed “edid read failed”. This happend when I used HDMI cable. When I switched to DP cable, the display is normal.
