I was about to use the jetson and it told me that an update was required, it updated and it no longer turned on. It shows an error, I tried to install the system on another SD and it can’t give me video output.
Hi @JorgeLdeJesus, I’ve moved this post to the Orin forum so the right team can help out! Thanks.
Hi,
What is your JP version?
Do you follow the below guideline to set up your device ?
Thanks
Hi David.
Thank you for your prompt response, I have installed and configured JetPack 5.1.3, configured and was able to navigate without problems in the system.
It asked me for an update and the firmware was updated to 36.3, then it rebooted and went black and the card turned off.
I disconnected the power, and only the fan spins without giving video.
I have reinstalled the system on the SD, changed the SD and it still does not give video.
In other solutions I found this
https://elinux.org/Jetson/General_debug
I have not tried it because I am just getting a computer to install Linux, since I use MacOS ARM and the SDK does not work on this architecture.
This was the last message that did not show when restarting
What is your reinstalled image version?
From above mentioned guideline Overall flow (microSD-only method)
section, since you firmware updated to 36.3, you need to install JP6.2 SD card Image.
Thanks
The system I installed as the first version on my jetson was JetPack 5.1.3, and I wanted to reinstall the SD with 5.1.3.
I’m already downloading JetSon 6.2 to install it on SD.
Do JP6.2 SD Image still encounter the problem?
Thanks
He instalado JetPack 6.2.
It didn’t work, it doesn’t give video. The green LED stays static and the fan is on.
Hi,
One question to confirm
- Is the Orin Nano a dev kit?
Some options you could try:
-
Record a serial console log for us to do further review.
-
Use sdk manager to flash in Ubuntu
Other recommended way is using ubuntu with sdk manager to flash our device.
-
Install JP6.0 Image
- Since your UEFI version
36.3.0
, which JP6.0 image compatible, you could install JP6.0 image and try
- Since your UEFI version
Thanks
Hi David
I installed the SDK Manager, it gave me an error twice when installing Flash Jetson Linux, I changed the SD.
With the new SD I can install the system and I connected it to a monitor, turned on the image and started installing some packages.
I’ve been using this screen for about 50 minutes. Will it ever go to the system screen?
update.
I had to disconnect and put ethernet, reconnected and it took barely 3 minutes.
The problem was solved by installing the system through SDK Manager.
