“Using Jetson Orin Nano R36.4 with vnet for network testing, the ping latency is relatively high compared to using the direct network port. Why is it worse than using the network port directly? Are there any parameters in the vnet driver that can be optimized? We use Jetson as a computing module, transferring data through PCIe, and currently, the ping latency when testing with vnet is quite high. Normally, running algorithms takes only 2.2ms, but now with vnet, it’s easy for the latency to exceed this value.”
I reproduce this on the agx orin develop kit too, but I don’t know its reason.
