@ferranb yes, you can buy the module and carrier board separately. Searching âJetson Orin Nano carrier boardâ will show many options. just be careful, some cheaper ones are for the older Jetson Nano. From experience, some boards may also need a custom BSP from the vendor. Nvidiaâs default image usually works for core functions, but extra features might need vendor drivers.
Also, the Orin Nano module alone costs almost as much as the full devkit. Nvidia seems to have priced the orin nano super devkit at a super low price (maybe even below its real mfg cost).
Still zero availability for actual customers. Only scalpers. Any news from nvidia? Any plans at all to make some available for customers not companies who Jack up the price?

Hi all, hoping this will help someone: I ordered my Jetson Orin Nano Super on December 18th 24 from Seeed Studio. I just received my kit Monday, April 14th. This was DHL shipping to NY. I was worried that Seeed wasnât going to ship the unit as I did not hear any updates from them but I received mine all the same. Itâs a great device especially for the price and very worth the wait. :)
If you buy it on an online marketplace, just return it. The seller might give you a partial refund of the scalped price. When they take a return, they are still out marketplace fees and the cost of return shipping. They lose significantly when you force a return. Even if they sell it as âno returnsâ you can still open a case.
true, its a way to punish them but in the end, I do not get the product. Nvidia does not seem to care that people are not able to buy their product. Or customers are not willing to buy it for the insanely pumped up price
from the one nvidia bragged about. so far NVIDIA here in the forums just say, âwe will look into the matterâ, but they dont care so nothing changes.Ive sent a message via the corparate sales forum. I dont expect much. This all is pretty disappointing, I had a realy nice project in mind with this board.

You will, they will give you a partial refund to avoid taking a much bigger loss. None of them will take it back and make up stories how they sold it âno returnsâ. Fact is you open a claim on both marketplaces, their policy will force them into a refund scenario. If the seller does not comply they will give a full refund and let you keep the item.
I agree with you on that, it appears they are playing games, they seen how high pi products went when âthey were scarseâ.
That board is nice and most certainly the best SBC on the market. However if you want to go to the next level using NN their low onboard ram is a severely limiting factor. Not enough ram to train anything⌠We used the CUDA cores for our application and it is smoking fast when running CUDA. We can run our stuff on a big box with a GPU card, it would have been nice to have a SBC foot print.
I am still waiting for my Nano ordered from Seeed on December 18th 2024. I stupidly also opted for DHL 3 day shipping (like that is significant now!) - I still have a stock expected May 6th against my order and as have mentioned if it slips again the order will be cancelled and I will await some competition in this Edge AI Marketspace which is destined to become huge. Seed previously with my T1000e tracker orders have proven reliable, but it is incredible that they cannot fulfil an order placed the day after release when there are so many others that have received theirs! Nvidia should be sending me one for free or at least heavily discounted for the hassle!
How many Orin nano Development Kit did you order?
I ordered 17ps of Orin nano Development Kit from Seeed Studio on January 20th 2025. I still waitting to now.
But during this period, I acquired another 20 sets from the China. The average price per set is $600US dollar.
I thought that was Market hype.

http://cytrence.com/ has more stock for their kiwi pro + Jetson Orin nano. I picked one up last time they had in stock and not only was it the cheapest way to get an Orin Nano right now, but the kiwi pro is actually pretty awesome. You can use your laptop as the monitor/keyboard/mouse in a window - itâs like having the Jetson in a VM window on your mac/PC.

That would be really nice, however highly doubt developers would get that.
We went to a big box with GPU since we need to run CUDA.
I am on the list for the DGX Spark, however impressive that system might be its way over priced for us to find commercial use for it.
I mean, I hope you know that scalpers have completely bought this out and have priced the product from $500 and up on ebay. Some basic protections at point of sale could have prevented this.
I ordered just 1 for a poc project. But fast losing hope, my May 6th still stands but if that shifts I shall be cancelling and not using Nvidia products in future.
This is BS, not your statement but what is going with resellers. This stuff is not produced in â100â unit lots, just not even remotely practical to produce this in small batchesâŚhence, this is a driving a false perception of scarcity to manipulate the price. So, keep that in mind too.
They were selling them on amazon, so what is the excuse now. It surely is not the tariffs, pretty sure they were given an exemption.
My Order is pending since long and Tannatech biz is pushing my order further more delay.

Ordered on Sparkfun Jan 3, 2025 and received it May 2, 2025. Ordered for MSRP $249. Sparkfun communicated it was delayed. Maybe lots more will come out of Jensenâs oven!
