I don’t think there is usually not a Docker Image or sample rootfs with everything one needs for a specific project, given that all projects are different and usually have different requirements. Although, there are are a couple of tips you can try:
If you want to lean towards a Docker approach, a great first step towards a complete image is using Dusty’s containers. They are already packed with most tools one needs for edge AI applications.
If you rather freeze your libraries at host level, we would recommend either doing a custom Jetpack image or if you want even more control, evaluate the option of using Yocto. That way you can ensure you will be always using the exact same version of libraries and you will be able to replicate the build every single time.
Please let me know if I am missing something or did not get your question right.

Thank you for fast response, I am new in nvidia jetson word. My question was not focused, to allow me know and take correct way, now I look in Dusty’s container and , if I can, ask you for support or information, if no found it on net. At first look, as you suggest, is good choice let me time to understood.
Just a confirmation for jetson word: now I have system running with some sw installed and ok, for my security , can I take ssd installed, make an image on other one using ie window pc and in case of something go wrong replace the second safer ssd and restart from known ready point without any other change ( as we do on standard pc, replace system disk and go on.. ). I ask this to avoid , in this phase, to make same steps more time, an to be protected in case something go wrong ( in IT area can be happen … )
To answer your question, yes, you should be able to duplicate your SSD and have some sort of backup.
Although, if you are going to be working with Docker, you should not worry about messing the host device, since you will be doing everything on Docker.
