After attempting to install AnyDesk (incorrectly downloaded the AMD64
version instead of ARM64
) and X2GoServer on my Jetson Orin NX (16GB) , I removed both packages. However, upon rebooting, the system fails to start properly and displays the following error (see attached photo):
your installation and uninstallations might have damaged files related to display manager. you might need to reflash to get back to original working condition I suppose.
Thanks for the response. To proceed with reflashing my Jetson Orin NX, I’d appreciate clarification on:
- Reflashing Steps: Could you share detailed instructions (or official NVIDIA documentation) for reflashing the Orin NX to restore the original OS?
- Data Retention: Will reflashing wipe all existing data (e.g., user files, installed packages)? If yes, is there a way to back up critical data before reflashing (given the system won’t boot properly)?
I want to ensure I understand the process and implications before proceeding.
yes. It will delete all the exsiting data before reflashing.
