Jetson Orin NX Fails to Boot After Removing AnyDesk (AMD64) and X2GoServer

After attempting to install AnyDesk (incorrectly downloaded the AMD64 version instead of ARM64) and X2GoServer on my Jetson Orin NX (16GB) , I removed both packages. However, upon rebooting, the system fails to start properly and displays the following error (see attached photo):

your installation and uninstallations might have damaged files related to display manager. you might need to reflash to get back to original working condition I suppose.

Thanks for the response. To proceed with reflashing my Jetson Orin NX, I’d appreciate clarification on:

  1. Reflashing Steps: Could you share detailed instructions (or official NVIDIA documentation) for reflashing the Orin NX to restore the original OS?
  2. Data Retention: Will reflashing wipe all existing data (e.g., user files, installed packages)? If yes, is there a way to back up critical data before reflashing (given the system won’t boot properly)?

I want to ensure I understand the process and implications before proceeding.

yes. It will delete all the exsiting data before reflashing.

For backup and restoring a jetson device refer to the below link:
