Jetson Thor (JetPack 7.2) | NvSIPL Multi-Camera Timeout/Crash After Running with 2+ Cameras

Hi NV,

We are currently debugging cameras on the Jetson Thor platform running JetPack 7.2 with the NvSIPL framework.

A single camera works completely fine without any issues. However, when streaming with two or more cameras simultaneously, the system crashes after running for a certain period of time.

Could you please help analyze the root cause?

according to the logs..

ATOMP_FRAME_TRUNCATED as “Frame truncated writing to system memory”,
it typically indicates insufficient memory bandwidth or excessive memory access latency.

may I confirm how long it took to reproduce the failure?

firstly, please try reproduce this again by putting in max performance mode.

secondly, you may have dual-camera streaming and monitor tegrastats for EMC loadings.
lastly, please further reduce capture bandwidth to confirm the direction.
such as..
– lower FPS or resolution
– disable unused outputs (i.e. remove -R, -1 -2)
– test ICP RAW-only (i.e. without ISP path)
