Jetson TK1: hanging when executing "apt-get upgrade"

When I set a brand new Jetson TK1 with Ubuntu 14.04, I tried to execute “apt-get upgrade”

But it hanged on “Setting up lightdm (1.10.1-0ubuntu1) …”.

Then, I tried to force TK1 to reboot. After rebooting, I cannot enter Ubuntu’s login screen.

Does anyone have any idea?

Here is the message when I executing “apt-get upgrade”.

Possibly 2 issues, one causing hang, and the second the URL above causing reboot GUI failure.
