Jetson TX1 OV5693 high frame rate not working?

I am unable to get the nvcamerasrc element to supply 120FPS video from the OV5693 camera. I have compiled a more recent version of gstreamer (1.6.2) and tested using the fpsdisplaysink (though checking timing with nvcamerasrc debug messages turned way up works too):

I see the mode is implemented in the nvidia OV5693 driver and it looks like it is trying to configure 120fps output, but it isn’t happening.

Any clarification regarding the supported modes of the ov5693 and if 1280x720@120fps is attainable?
